Risk Disclosure

Read this before you trade anything posted in the group

Trading stocks, options and futures carries a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose the entire amount you put into a trade, and in futures and other leveraged products you can lose more than you deposited. Only trade with money you can afford to lose entirely.

Akashic Wealth is an educational community, not an investment adviser. Nothing in the Discord, on this website, in a live stream or in a mentorship session is a recommendation for you. Every trade you place is your own decision, and its result is yours.

Options

Most of what the group posts is options, including 0DTE contracts that expire the same day and low-priced lotto contracts. These can lose their whole value in minutes and often expire worthless. Time decay works against you every hour you hold, and wide bid-ask spreads mean you can lose money even when the underlying moves your way.

Debit spreads cap your loss at what you paid but can still go to zero. LEAPs last longer but can also expire worthless. If you sell options, your loss can be far larger than the premium you collect, and you can be assigned at any time. Your broker sets the approvals, margin and rules that apply to you, and your broker can close a position without your consent.

Futures

Futures are highly leveraged. A small move in the index is a large move in your account, margin calls can arrive quickly, and you can lose more than the money in your account. Futures trade almost around the clock, so a position can move sharply while you are not watching.

Funded or evaluation accounts from prop trading firms have their own rules, fees and payout conditions, and the firm decides whether you are paid. Passing an evaluation is not a guarantee of income. Any referral code the team posts for a prop firm may earn the poster a commission.

Stocks and small caps

Small-cap and swing trades can be thinly traded, halted, diluted or moved by a single headline. You may not be able to exit at the price you want, or at all, and a stock can gap through your stop.

What a signal is, and what it is not

A Buy post records that the poster entered a trade at the stated ticker, strike, expiration and price. A Trim or Sell post records that the poster took some profit. A Close post records that the poster exited, whether at a gain or a loss. Each post describes one person's own position at one moment. It does not consider your account size, your risk tolerance, your tax situation or anything else about you.

The group's guideline is to enter within 5% of the posted price or skip the trade. Even inside that band your entry, your size, your exit and your fees will differ from the poster's, so your result will differ too, sometimes by a great deal. A trade the poster closed for a gain can be a loss for you.

Signals may not be timely

Alerts travel through Discord, and Discord, your phone and your broker can each add delay. Notifications can be missed or silenced. By the time you read a post the price may have moved, the setup may be gone or the trade may already be closed. We do not guarantee that any alert reaches you at all, and we are not liable for a trade you entered late or missed.

The team trades what it posts

Bill, Kevin and the contributing analysts trade their own money in the positions they post, usually before or as they post them. They may add, trim or exit without posting, hold a position after posting Close, or hold a different position in the same name in another account. Their interests and yours can differ: members buying after a post can, for example, help the poster exit.

Team members may earn referral bonuses or commissions from brokers, card issuers or prop firms whose links or codes they share. If a team member ever has a paid arrangement tied to a specific stock or contract they post about, the post will say so.

Past performance, the trade log and the recaps

The daily log and weekly recap record the alerts the team posted, not the results of any real account and not the results of any member. A trade is counted from the posted entry to its highest realized trim, and an intraday position that later stops out below breakeven is recorded as a loss. Re-entries count as separate trades. The counting rules are pinned in the group.

Percentages in the log are the move in the option's price per contract. They are not account returns, they are not net of commissions or fees, and they do not tell you how much money anyone made. A 500% gain on a $50 contract is $250. A run of large percentage wins can sit alongside a net loss in dollars once size and losses are counted.

Past performance does not predict future results. Markets change, and a strategy that worked in one period can lose in the next.

Member results shown on this website

Screenshots of member posts on the home page come from the post-profits channel, where members share trades that went well. Losses are not posted there. The screenshots are individual results, chosen by us, and are not typical of members as a group. We do not track how members do overall, and many people who trade options and futures lose money.

Members who trade the group's alerts can and do lose money, including the entire amount they risk on a trade. Do not join expecting the results shown in any screenshot.

Statement on hypothetical performance

The log is a record of posted alerts, not the audited results of one account that took every trade at every posted price. Treat it as hypothetical performance and read it with the following statement in mind:

HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN. IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM. ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK IN ACTUAL TRADING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR TO ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND ALL OF WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS.

The $5K Challenge

The $5K Challenge is one account, traded by the team, with its own size and risk. Its progress is that account's result and nothing else. It has no deadline, and it can lose money as well as make it.

Taxes

Short-term trading has tax consequences, and options, futures and stocks are taxed differently. Nothing we post is tax advice. Talk to a tax professional about your own situation.

Before you start

Decide your own position size and maximum loss before you enter any trade, and use a limit order rather than chasing a fill. If you are unsure whether trading options or futures is appropriate for you, talk to a licensed financial adviser before you start, not after a loss.
